We are proud to lend support to shortlisted filmmakers that enter their films for WSFF each year. Part of the prize that we offer is mentoring from some of our judges, and friends of the festival. We will shortly be expanding this to short filmmakers who are interested in some advice or feedback on their work outside of entering it for the festival. Mentoring via The Hampshire Picture Company

The Winchester Short Film Festival is delighted to further their relationship with The Hampshire Picture Company. The Hampshire Picture Company offers mentoring opportunities to outstanding young emerging talent, still in education. They are currently supporting and monitoring two Winchester-based young people still in education:

Matt Livingston – Writer and Director
Winner of the WSFF 2014 Best Short Film award

Charlie Carroll – Composer, Writer and Director
Winner of the WSFF 2015 Best Budget & New Media award

The Hampshire Picture company are happy to receive short film submissions but in the first instance will only consider email with a synopsis and history of the work. If invited, scripts can be submitted to
